Georgia A. Popoff is a community poet, performer, educator, spoken word producer, and senior editor of The Comstock Review. A teaching poet in schools and community settings, including the Downtown Writers Center, the Syracuse, NY, chapter of the YMCA’s national Writers Voice program, she has appeared in numerous journals, anthologies, and web publications. Her first collection is Coaxing Nectar from Longing (Hale Mary Press, 1997). In 2003, Pudding House released her Greatest Hits as part of their chapbook series. A second full length collection, An Insanity of Roses, is forthcoming. Georgia is also Community Liaison for Partners for Arts Education and a board member of the Association of Teaching Artists.
