James Cushing teaches at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California, and is the author of two collections of poetry, most recently The Length of an Afternoon (Cahuenga Press, Los Angeles). His most recent poems are from his manuscript, Falling Dreams, and have appeared in The Wisconsin Review, Yalobusha Review, and Sulphur River.
