Patricia Terry has taught literature at Barnard College and The University of California at San Diego. Poems of hers have been published in ArtWord Quarterly, Denver Quarterly, The Hudson Review, The Paris Review, Prairie Schooner, and Ekphrasis. A chapbook, the weight of the shadows, has been published by Red Dust Press, NY. Her most recent translations of medieval texts are Renard the Fox and The Honeysuckle and the Hazel Tree, both published by the University of California Press. A retelling of twelfth and thirteenth century versions of the Perceval story is in press at the University Press of Florida. Otherwise, she is much concerned with the education of her two dogs, a Saluki and a Tibetan Terrier, but does not try to influence her Abyssinian cat.
