Cathy Gibbons studied Spanish/Latin American literature in Madrid and was selected by the Fulbright Commission to receive a Mexican Government grant for graduate work in Mexico City where she lived for eight years. Since 1980 she has taught and performed as a whiteface clown and published a bi-monthly variety arts magazine with subscribers in over 37 countries. Cathy was a member of 1995 Syracuse Slam Team and a finalist for the Salt Hill Journal prize.
